ABOUT FOXTROT FARMS

Colleen is the owner of Foxtrot Farms. She has been riding and competing in hunter/jumpers for over 25 years. Colleen has taken many clinics with upper-level trainers including multiple Olympic gold medalists, and has traveled to places like Aiken and even Ireland for advanced level training. Locally, she continues to train under high level dressage and jumping instructors. She believes in keeping herself at peak performance so that she can pass along her knowledge to her amazing riders and their wonderful horses.  Colleen actively competes in show jumping, eventing and dressage on a local and rated level. In 2025, she qualified for The Kentucky National and was in the top 25 horses in the nation to compete in the Thoroughbred 1.0m jumpers. She was also HJAM circuit champion in the 1.0m division.

Colleen takes a dressage-based approach to all the different disciplines she teaches so that horses become flexible, strong and correct. She believes this way of training helps horses become effective and bold jumpers that know their job and can do it happily with confidence. Colleen is available for training rides and encourages owners to watch them so that she can talk them through everything step by step to help them better understand what works best for their horse.
